Kharkov Tractor Plant

Kharkov Tractor Plant was founded in 1930. To work at a huge, fast-growing enterprise, more and more specialists from different spheres were required, which led to the formation of a separate residential district of Kharkov, which became a full namesake of the plant and was called KhTP.

Over the past years, the plant has produced more than 3 million tractors and other heavy special equipment, which has always been distinguished by reliability, functionality and the highest quality performance. The products manufactured by the KhTP industrial enterprise have been in great demand for decades not only in the territory of the former Soviet Union, but also in many countries of Europe, Asia and even Africa. Today, Kharkov Tractor Plant produces dozens of models of modern tractors and special equipment, which has not lost its relevance and is still widely in demand by a wide range of consumers, due to its reliability, efficiency and reasonable competitive price of products.

All modern products are certified and match the quality standards imposed by the European Union. Today, the plant produces machines designed to perform a wide variety of work in many industries, agriculture and utilities, construction. Almost all tractors and heavy equipment for special purposes are multifunctional and have high aggregation capabilities with numerous mounted implements for various purposes. The daily painstaking work of technologists, designers, industrial designers and many other KhTP specialists has led to the emergence of a new line of high-tech, comfortable and productive machines, in the manufacture of which innovative modern technologies and materials have been used. In addition to traditional general-purpose tractors, the enterprise began production of special equipment intended for oil workers and geologists. Universal railway machines based on the KhTP tractors were produced for the railway industry. All tractor models for agricultural producers and utilities were updated and received new life. But no matter what equipment the Kharkov Tractor Plant produces today, the main criteria, that have remained unchanged from the first years of operation of the enterprise, are high quality, durability, safety and reliability of each machine produced.

The KhTZ-181 high-cross-country caterpillar tractor (190 hp), the KhTZ-150K-09.172 wheeled vehicles (180 hp) with increased twin wheels will help the agrarian improve yield indicators, due to the reduced ground pressure provided by the structures of these cars.

To perform maintenance and repair of the railway track, the UPM-1 universal track machine was launched, operating on a specially equipped XTZ-17221 tractor.
